Next Project

Things are real hush-hush, but it's been confirmed. While Superman goes through revisions & rewrites, Batman 3 will be the next project! Can't wait until more is confirmed. It will probably be in several weeks we get an information page.

"Superman" update and future plans for Michael!

With the second draft of "Superman" in the works, and the teaser trailer premiering tomorrow, we asked Michael how the second draft was coming. He told reporters the final draft should be somewhere inbetween 110-120 pages, making a good two hour film.

When asked if he'd write sequels he stated "Depends. I want to try out different stories, but if this first one is a hit, sequels will cross my mind".

Superman's final release is still shady, but it might be coming out sooner then we think.

1st Draft Completed

It clocks in at 102 pages. Don't worry, it's the first copy. I already know what I want to edit. By the time I'm finished editing, (which will take a week or two), I'm hoping to have it be around 110. From looking at it now, since I haven't read it, I'm thinking it's around 2 hours. Give or take a couple minutes.

Screenplay update

Well, I'm officially on 71 pages. We're almost at the climax. I'm loving write this so far. I'll probably finish it up in around a week (or two) and then I begin doing rewrites. I can almost guarantee it'll be a bit longer then two hours. Maybe two and a half or two and fifteen minutes. I'm probably a little over an hour and a half now.

I'm hoping to get a teaser trailer up next Friday, so we'll see from there.

My current project

As a screenwriter, my job is to pick something I want to see up on the big screen, and write about it. When I started screenwriting, I decided to start with a "Superman" screenplay. It didn't work out so well, and I left to do other projects which I never completed. As part of my new "I start, I finish" attitude, I'm going back and rewriting Superman: The Man of Steel. It'll be finished late November, as I'm going strong.
